Hello and welcome to my recipe blog. 

Here are a few facts about me: 

1. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago
2. I love to cook... more importantly I love to cook for others
3. I enjoy being surrounded by my friends and family 
4. I'm a huge dork.. I read, play video games, read some more... oh yea and I work in Tech Support
5. The best thing about Summers are summer storms... I love bad weather! 
6. I have secret dreams of being a photographer 

I created this blog because well... I was bored. I also needed a fast and reliable way to locate all of my recipes that are just really me throwing things into a pot but results in deliciousness! So here it is. All recipes posted here are dishes I've actually created along with a photo of the result. Feel free to comment... or make suggestions. I'm very open when it comes to cooking... :) 

My focus here is mainly going to be island dishes but if there's something you'd like to see let me know. I also love to experiment with food. Does that count as being a food scientist??
